John was very friendly and chatty and texted me the day before he was due to come to say he was able to come at an earlier time if that was convenient. I asked him to bring the replacement part with him which he had not intended doing and he did the job within 1 hour. I am extremely happy with the work John carried out.

I arranged a Pre Purchase inspection as I live a couple of hours from the seller.
I was a bit dubious at first as I had to select a time slot to complete the booking. I didn't know what time would be convenient for the seller.
I put a note on the booking asking the mechanic to contact the seller to arrange.
I am happy to report that the seller reported communication was prompt and succinct.
