I was getting desperate because my car kept losing water, the garage I usually use couldn't find the problem and I was about to set off on holiday to France. Andrew immediately diagnosed the problem (radiator) and fixed it for a very reasonable fee. I drove to Normandy without losing a drop. He also replaced a fixing clip that the other garage must have lost. I noticed. The communication and customer service were also first class.

I was pleased with this service - someone came to pick up my car and dropped it back, they were on time and flexible to fit in with my work, were easy and pleasant to communicate with, there were no hidden extras they honoured the quote. I didn't speak directly with my mechanic until afterwards and he has just emailed me some articles to help me maintain my car.

The first mechanic was friendly but struggled to get the oil filter off. I needed to drive the car to the depot to have this done and had to wait one hour in the cold as the oil filter went with the first mechanic and had to be reordered - despite having an agreed appointment. The second mechanic was very knowledgeable and friendly, finished the job. Fluids were not topped up and no written report was provided.

I was initially sceptical about using an online service, how wrong was I.
