The inspection fell down in one key area. I made a specific request for the inspection to assess the vehicle for underneath corrosion. The vehicle has now had a major service, I was called in by the garage concerned to inspect the underbody corrosion all was as reported by the click mechanic except that he missed serious corrosion on the nearside chassis just in front of the front left hand suspension - there was a hole about 1.5cm in diameter and should have been a clear mot failure at its last (recent) MoT. I have had this repaired.
Oher than the above the mechanic was excellent.
