Dale is a friendly mechanic. He's good at his job and very helpful. However, because he's good he's also busy and, for me, he was quite late. I had a slot 1-3pm. And he arrived at around 4.
He called to ask if it was ok. I agreed.
I was charged with a visual inspection. No work was carried out. Part was required.
When part came in, I was told it would be fixed Saturday. He never showed. I got a call but missed it. No message was left.
I had to message him. It would then be Sunday 12pm.
1230pm I sent a message. Got reply saying was in his way.
As a courtesy Dale agreed to reduce the price
Now this is where I have to give him praise. He halfed the labour charge for second visit.
So here it is in short.
Don't expect him to arrive on time.
Expect him to do a good job and be fair with you.
I would say the overall experience was slightly above average.
The time factor is a big issue with me. Once can be forgiven, but it seems to be a constant thing.

Dale is a star, very hard working and keeps you informed step by step. Dale is extremely polite and understanding, he goes out of his way to solve the problem a very knowledgeable mechanic.

Dale was fantastic. Quoted fairly for the job, required further parts. Ordered and fixed the car the next day (Bank holiday weekend). Additional costs were transparent and well explained.

Was meant to be picked up Sat between 4-6 but didn't contact me until qtr past 4 to move the date of pick up to Mon. He was also told car was not drivable but drove it back to his garage anyway possibly causing more damage to the car before he'd even started fixing it. Repeatedly said he would text, call and send photos to keep me updated but never did. I had to initiate the contact every day just to find out what was happening. Now been sent a quote for additional work of 320 where I would be charged twice for the same part as on the quote it has listed "front pads" and then underneath "pads front" which last I checked was the exact same thing. Poor punctuality and extremely poor communication. I've asked for car back an he told me I had to phone him and he will try to sort something for me. This won't be happening and I want my car back ASAP so I can get a more reliable, punctual and trustworthy mechanic to help. Read more

Dale did my car exactly as I wanted I was worried handing my car over to stranger what have I done the job was very complicated ?
Don't know why I worried he took the car fixed the car and more brought it back happy days he is a real asset would recommend to every one

dale and steven were really good. the only issue there was, was that the first set of brake disks they got were slightly to wide, they had to go back to where they got them from for a slightly narrower set. apart from that all good.

The mechanic Dale was very good he was pleasant and kept me informed on everything he had done definitely worthy of a 5 star rating.
