Initial job was to change a snapped alternator belt and interim service, changed the belt on my drive and drove it to their place for the service by the mechanic but snapped the belt on the way and brought it back as they need new belt and tensioner which they can only collect on the monday from suppliers, they collected the car on Monday and later texted me the work will be done soon and demanding payment to the bank account, and paid, got a phone call after an hour saying they changed the belt and tensioner but there is knocking noice coming from the car and the problem is with the alternator it self and needs changing and gave me quote and I agreed, next day morning received a text message saying they collected the alternator but its not the right one and the cross checked the part number and the right one will cost more (556. 70) and also it won’t be in stock till Thursday, and I agreed, contacted them on Thursday afternoon and the reply was part didn’t arrive, same again on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday he said it will be on Tuesday as he spoke to the supplier and they have some logistics problems, call them on Tuesday no and till 5, got message around 5 saying they got the part and delivered the car around 8:30 pm , I opened the bonnet to see a snapped/ripped belt, and the mechanic didn’t have much to say, he promised to come back on next day morning, and texted me later at night “ I've put the wrong belt on the new one is on my desk lol what an idiot” (just copy pasted his text) . Next day morning he came back with the belt and changed it on my drive and car start making loud noises and he didn’t know why or what to do next and advised me to drive like that for couple of days and it might go off once the belt settled in and if not he will come and sort it out, by that time I was tired, it have costed me a lot money (980)time and stress,I just wanted him to leave. Took it to the garage near home and they changed a tensioner/bearing which cost me £60 for the part and 40 labour and all the noise gone and the problem solved. And the guys from the garage showed me underneath the car and said they are sure no oil change has been done and they are pretty sure the alternator is not new and look like someone painted silver colour on the old one. Avoid!!!

Car was booked for a major service (most items missed) glow plug replacement (wrong plugs fitted) MOT (they couldn’t do the MOT)

I raised a case through click mechanic for the wrong plugs, garage didn’t care - I raised a dispute through my credit card provider then they offered to collect and deliver the car after fixing the issue.

They collected the car then held it over a weekend demanding payment before I could arrange collection, I offered to pay on collection and they refused - The dispute is still ongoing with Amex (I offered to cancel it on collection with proof and they refused)
Police were called and from talking with their neighbours this is a weekly occurrence with this garage.


Police helped recover the vehicle & they are currently under investigation for Fraud, they have been reported to Trading standards.

I am now faced with a broken car (which they caused) & having to take them to court to get the car fixed!

Strongly advise to avoid!

Dear Mr Smith, we are sadden to read your third edition of script which you keep changing, on this occasion we will use our right to reply, or right of correction, generally means the right to defend, against wrong doing and public criticism. You state "car was booked in for major sevice" first edition you stated "hinges weren't greased" you took your reference from a generic form, which is not applicable for all vehicles or vans such as yours ,so to complete and send in the form N/A would have been used, but on physical investigation it would be clear they had been greased. No where do we advertise we are an MOT station, we took it for its MOT unfortunately its classified as a mini bus, they couldn't do it because of its classification, you weren't charged for this and verbally agreed you would get it done yourself via text. You were kept informed.
We welcome genuine reviews from a factual perspective and do go up and beyond to rectify any issues from our service.Our mechanics are busy,but happy to take time to explain procedures and costing to the best of their abilities, before commencing a job,during and afterwards, but because of the nature of the business technical jargon could lead to misunderstanding, which is why we physically take photos and store communication for this exact reason, which you are clearly unaware of. Parts are also connected to each individual job and proof of purchase will have corresponding vehicle registration. Twice your glow plugs have been changed, the fault on the first set was from the manufacturer and we wholeheartedly apologise for this but this was out of our control and rectified.
Also abusive communications from any customer is a hard task to negate, a restrained not rude response would have been given.
You stated you had an independent report done, the AA/RAC could be regarded as well trained and knowledgeable however the subcontractors only need to have a completed a comprehensive 4 week training course,according to the Internet.Also the DIY blue tooth gadget, you have been useing,would only give a wide diagnostic, where you actually would need an auto electrician. Second edition you claimed the wrong glow plugs have been used,however the wrong ones would not fit,the vehicle would not start let alone do an approximate 60 mile round trip.
You stated"only took action when opened a dispute with credit card providers" true because this is when we were alerted to a problem. We then we received an email from clickmechanic stating, a customer had a issue could we contact them. So then you were texted as proof of communication, you said you would have called direct but had lost our phone number,so went via clickmechanic!
You decided to unethically rebound the whole cost of the job, you requested and entered into with us.We belive to pay for a job done is not unreasonable. For a second time to Try and resolve any issues you believed you had,we agreed to collect the van and replace the glow plugs again and you agreed to repay the bill now outstanding. We kept to our side of the agreement whilst still receiving abusive and threatening texts. When it came to clearing your bill,you claimed" the dispute on the card payment had been lifted" However this was not the case,checks were made via the card provider.We were left with no option but to hold on to the vehicle until the bill was settled with cleared available funds,after being scammed already.
You even stated we charged you £600 twice, this calculated amounts to £1,200, truly not the case!
A or any garage that has repaired a car has the legal right,to keep the vehicle until the bill is cleared, this is called mechanics Lien.
Yesterday( 16th September 2023) you accelerated your abusive texts from approximately 9am, stating (we have text messages saved and posted photographs) you were going to unlawfully enter our work premises and take your van without payment or permission, sending us a photo of our unit with BOLT CUTTERS against the wall!!!! Stating the cctv didn't cover the entrance you were going to take,telling us on nemours occasions,you know where me and my family lived even in front of the police!!! Due to the nature of your communications WE RANG for the police to attend,call logged 10.38am we were given a CRIME number. 11.25am you phone called us and agreed to pay the bill so we had no issues in releasing the vehicle, WHY would we refuse payment? this is pure nonsense,as that's all we wanted.You were polite and accommodating infront of the police,of which we believe was a total waist of their resources,it didn't have to come to that as there was only ever going to be one resolution, pay your bill recieve your property back.

We don't know how the global pandemic effected yourself, however our businesses were thriving little establishment's reliant on face to face business,2 units side by side self sufficient,covid obviously put stop to this and made us financially fragile being fledgling company's the only funding available covering the cost of building's. So we made the decision to down size and follow a different path.The next unit was not a success and very unsuitable for what we needed.we evolved and totally renovated our business plan,with the cost of signage etc it was just simpler to reband.The company's house is totally transparent and we have nothing to hide,certainly not due to our service, as many reviews state in black and white.
You state you talked with our neighbours, we believed that unit is actually empty, are these the same neighbours that are being thrown off the site by the owner? because of the trouble they cause? Weekly occurrence!!!!! Wouldn't the police know us personally,that would be a pretty long wrap sheet! Trading standards are welcome to vist anytime open doors, I suspect they don't need an invite. I suspect you have filled out an online form,as they are shut on a weekend. We are NOT under investigation for fraud, that unfortunately is a blatant lye."I am now faced with a broken car,which they caused & having to take them to court to get the car fixed". You drove the van in front of the police off the site no complaints proceeding to drive to crew from Market Drayton without recovery? As for court you need to do what you feel appropriate.

Steve was fantastic, he arrived exactly at the time he was supposed to and was able to diagnose the problem with my car within 5 mins, unfortunately a new battery was needed, but Steve was able to get my car running so that I could get it to the garage. Thank you
