I studied for my apprenticeship at Darlington College of Technology and done day release to get my qualifications. I am fully trained up to City & Guilds level 4 and worked for many big companies and I began working for Skippers in Darlington for about 4 years then subsequently throughout my 30 years I have worked for: the Army, MobilExxon, LandRover, Mercedes, Kia, Jaguar, Scania, MAN trucks, and Caterpillar. I opened my own business Billinghams Mobile Motor Repair in 1999, so there is many years of experience. Billinghams cater all makes & models of cars and will tackle all repairs.

Excellent, polite courtious explained everything in detail. First class service. Displayed the problem on his laptop, showed me were the part was located and gave me options as to the repair.

it was a waste of money i know what was wrong .he had no tools with him as far as a could see just turned the key a few times and told me to have the ignition barrel changed i regret using your webside

I am sorry to hear you review but hope this response will put paid to soe of your issues

Firstly i take your point of having no tools with me , the rear of my vehicle carries an extensive toolkit enabling to carry out the majority of tasks i am employed to do,

secondly with regards to turning the keys a few times i think you aware that i tried both sets of keys repeatedly for a length of time

thirdly i feel that if you knew what the problem was why would you engage someone to carry out a diagnosis in the first place

in summary i find that your review is both unfair and not a fair account of myself .
you paid for .9 of an hour for the problem to be diagnosed and you gave me the impression that you expected the problem to fixed there and then. i offered to do the repair but when i said the cost would be quite high because i would have to obtain parts from main dealer you declined i then offered to let you know of a local auto locksmith who would be cheaper and you accepted i then furnished you with their details. if you had a problem with the service it would have been more productive to mention it during the visit and on this occasion i feel i provided the service that you both paid for and asked for Read more
