Ford Focus Brake pads replacement - front (all)

Fitting brake pads whilst needed new discs without saying I’d struggle to get new discs without getting pads done again. So I’ve had to fork more money out to get pads and discs done together.

Hi just seen review you have left after the job i did , im a bit unhappy i been blaming for wrong diagnoses by your MOT garage . You have said to me you been advised by your MOT technician to replace only front brake pads where your front brake discs are damaged by grinding pads . You really should blame your MOT technician for wrong diagnostic and also for pass your car through MOT because them brake discs should fail your vehicle it is illegal what they do. I friendly advice you next time you should book inspection to verify issue with the car .

First of all, Jacek told me that the horn that was fitted in my car "has nothing to do" (to quote him) with a Nissan Qashqai. I checked this information and it wasn't the case, as we can find easily that the horn I had is the same as the one sold by buyers in eBay, for example, who are owners of the same car ;
I required the services of another mechanic, the next day, who confirmed to me that the horn I had in my car was normal and frequently used in Nissan ; he also checked it before me and the horn was working normally.
Jacek spent less than 15 minutes on the car and then announced me that he couldn't do nothing and that he tried to replace my older horn by the new one he brought, but it didn't work.
He didn't do anything to try to understand where was the problem arguing with me later, on the phone, that he was just supposed to replace the horn and that he is not allowed by ClickMechanic to perform any other duty.
If it is true, the problem is also with ClickMechanic: you charged me (before cancellation, and 40 after cancellation for a job not done) 106 Pounds !!! But your mechanic is not allowed to try to fix my problem !!!
The mechanic I called after Jacek fixed my problem and took the time to explain to me in details what was wrong with my car and he also recommended to me so other works I should do on my car linked to the issue I had with the horn. It took him half an hour to identify where was the problem !
Besides this, Jacek proposed me an inspection to identify the problem and he sent to me the next day a quote for this 'inspection" of 76 Pound pretending that this tariff was generated by your server !!! So I went on your website to book an inspection by myself to discover that the tariff for the electrical inspection is 57 Pounds !!!
To ClickMechanic: if it is true that your mechanics are just allowed to strictly perform the duty they are sent for without trying, a minimum, to fix or at least to identify an issue when you charge customers 106 for a task that last no more than 15 minutes, you should amend your policy and your customer service.

Your previous mechanic ( you says its was your friend ) ripped you off your money ( also thats you said) you say he put new horn and coil on steering wheel, i have pictures and short video as proof of diagnostic i did and as was diagnosed :
1 . horn wasn't "NEW" wiring been cut and taped with black tape ( why i said that horn isn't from this vehicle because even the wiring are different colours)
2. Yes your old horn was tested and was working only when connected straight to battery , but wiring loom to the horn been tested and there is no power signal .
3. I diagnosed your steering wheel and find the issue before you back from home to the car and tell me someone before do something ( replacing some parts)
4.
Your horn wants replaced because your old one works but there is issue with electric inside steering wheel ( so replace horn wasn't needed)
5. I been that day with one of my worker ? She is qualified car mechanic also certified EV maintenance technician. After diagnostic you says you are so happy with my job and that we find your previous mechanic ( your friend ) lied telling you he use "NEW" parts .
6. You been advised to book diagnostic inspection to find out exac problem with the steering wheel coil , AND YES I TOLD IM NOT ALLOWED TO DO EXTRA JOB , JUST WHAT YOU HAVE PAYING FOR.
7. As i said i have pictures and video of diagnostic we provide that day .
Anyway i wish you all the best with your car and passing " MOT "
Ps: Stop blaming me for charging you any money , this is the Clickmechanic responsibility not mechanics , PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS before you make any booking.

Isn't nice when you do all you can to help others and end of the day if you dont do extra job for free they blaming you, because they previous mechanic mess up they car. But anyway J.J Auto Repair wish you all the best with your car .
