BMW X1 Replace EGR valve, new egr showing same fault as original part.
Continuation of diagnosis Carried out DDE Firmware update as per BMW TSB - Fault still present.
Strip down and deep clean original seized EGR valve, refit and and reset adaptions. Road test - All OK. If fault returns, a new genuine BMW EGR valve is recommended.
