Skoda Superb Timing belt replacement
Additional time added due to difficulties removing parts installed by previous mechanic using high strength threadlock where not required.

Very annoyed , took a cup of coffee out for him , he said in passing that the previous timing belt installer used some sort of locking glue on some nuts and was a bit stubborn to get off , finished work and left , I then received an invoice almost £100 over the price quoted for extra time undoing nuts … never said anything to me before he left , unacceptable and will NOT use click mechanic again

I am very sorry to have read the above review and that you felt the additional time spent rectifying a previous mechanics poor workmanship was unacceptable, had this have been in a garage for the work, they too would have charged additional time for the remedial work.
You are correct, I did not discuss this extra charge with you before I left and I can only apologise for this, we got talking at length at your front door and it totally slipped my mind. Again, I am sorry about this.
I have refunded the additional cost and this should be with you soon.

Having a mechanic come to do an mot is not a good idea , as he had to stay and sort the failure of a tyre ouf that was three hours, all extra labour charges for me. Using a online mechanic for mots is not cost effective.

Thank you for leaving a review, however I do feel that the poor rating towards communication is rather unfair.
I did my best to keep you updated along the way with multiple text messages and phone calls. I am sorry if you do still feel that I did not communicate with you well enough and will take this onboard.
I do agree that carrying out an MOT via ClickMechanic is a very poor idea, with their quotes barely covering the MOT fee alone. I have raised this with the team a number of times, sadly I have had no response at all.
I would like to suggest that you consider raising a case in the resolution centre.

Mercedes-Benz CLK Anti roll bar link is fine. Knocking noise is coming from exhaust system. Rear section exhaust hanger corroded and missing. Requires new rear section.
