Edd is a sweet person and very polite. One word he expressed with me after the inspection “I inspected the car as if I am going to buy it for myself”. .. what else a customer can expect.

Not only is Edd a lovely guy to deal with, his knowledge and ability to communicate to a non-mechanic is excellent. I felt in 100% safe hands, know what to ask the dealer to do (a couple of minor things), and am excited and reassured about my vehicle purchase. I highly recommend.
Prior to this Edd held the title of being ranked the Number 1 mechanic in the UK & Ireland for 3 years according to the LOTM. He won the National contest and was crowned number 1 in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Contests, in each case after competing over the course of 5 months against mechanics from across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Edward is the only person ever to achieve the ‘hat trick’ worldwide (the contest is held in 38 countries globally) as announced live on BBC Radio 2. Having achieved the record Edward retired from the contest undefeated before going on to win his current title European 'Auto Mechanik of the year'.

Edd is a third generation car mechanic who has always been a car enthusiast from a very young age. He began his professional career in the motor trade as an apprentice technician at Volkswagen. He gained a wealth of experience, mainly at a VW main dealer, but with time spent in the VW commercial workshop as well the Seat & Skoda workshops. He also spent 2 years as a specialist patrol for the AA dealing with breakdowns on all manner of vehicle from mopeds to HGV.
