Yes, he was friendly and did a very good job of inspecting the car. He also pointed out a number of issues which I was able to discuss with the dealer, and which the dealer agreed to fix prior to pick up (and he did fix them).

However, I mentioned that the air conditioning should be tested during the test drive, but was told it had already been tested and was ok. On the day I picked the car up, I noticed the air conditioning was not as cool as should be expected, and eventually had to take it to Halfords when I got back home. They managed to clear a "pump", and the air conditioner started working better after this.

In general, the mechanic did really well and I was impressed with his service, but it would have been better still if he tested the ai rconditioning while we were both sitting in the car. Read more

Thank god for you guys seriously! Found a Ford Galaxy on Autotrader from a small dealer in Manchester which I thought would be ideal for our growing family. Thanks to Click Mechanics they have just saved me buying a dud car!!! I booked online, all easy & straightforward & kept well informed of the process with all details emailed to me including the mechanics mobile number. The mechanic who came to review the car was an expert Danny Moran of GM tyres & autocar. He called me before hand just to ask a few questions & confirm what time he was arriving. He arrived promptly & was very friendly. Both my husband & I were super impressed with how knowledgable he was & how thorough he was when inspecting the car, he didn't miss one single trick & spotted every fault including some very serious work required that the dealer failed to tell us about. The car had passed its MOT but this car was not fit for purchasing as needed at least £1,500 spending on it. Danny checked everything including jacking up the car & checking underneath with a fine tooth comb. He was very honest with his advice & sent a thorough report afterwards with everything clearly explained. Even better he recommended similar cars to the one we viewed & gave us some great tips for what to look out for with used cars. If it hadn't been for him we would have had no clue really of the serious faults with this car. So grateful we booked him, sterling job & so impressed! The overall experience was excellent. Nice mechanic -Danny turned up on time and had the job completed within the hour. Also really cheap compared to other competitors. Overall I would seriously recommend this service.

Danny was exceptional. Definitely worth every penny.. even went out of his was to give me a courtesy call to talk through the report which I found really useful.

Danny was brilliant, rang me before he arrived at the site for a prepurchase inspection, emailed and rang me as soon as he was finished to let me know what he had found and advised me what he would do which was really helpful.

The work was completed without any problem, on time and no mess.
