I paid extra for a priority slot between 10-12, my car was not collected until 11.50 told it would be returned between 4.30-6.30pm however my car was not returned until 11.15pm at night!! Almost 11 and a half hours for a job that should have only taken a few hours. Further work on my car need done yes but wasn’t even attempted because he run out of time??? I was very concerned by 8pm where my car even was because I wasn’t even told where it was going when it was collecting! It was not a pleasant experience and infact very stressful and not convenient. So I would really appreciate a refund of the priority slot at least!.

I think there has been some misunderstanding, so I’d like to clarify the situation point by point.
Your booking was accepted on a collection and delivery basis. The time window of 10:00–12:00 was the collection window only, not the period during which work would be carried out. This meant I was required to collect the vehicle within that two-hour window, which I did.
The priority slot fee is automatically applied to any booking made within 48 hours of the booking time. This fee does not determine when the vehicle is returned, only that the booking is prioritised in the schedule.
On the day your vehicle was booked in, it was not the only vehicle with a priority slot.
When I began working on your vehicle, I called you at around 5pm to inform you that the bonnet was stuck closed. You confirmed that you were already aware of this issue, but it had not been mentioned at collection or included in the booking details. This also explained the low engine oil and empty screen wash warnings on the dashboard. I informed you at that point that, due to the bonnet issue, the vehicle would be returned later than planned, but still on the same day, which it was.
You were not charged for the time or work involved in getting the bonnet unstuck.
All work that was requested and paid for on the booking was fully completed.
I did not have time to carry out additional diagnosis, which was not requested or paid for as part of the booking.
I hope this clears up any confusion.

Patson was very friendly on car collection he explained the work he would be completing the new parts to be fitted and when the car would be returned. When the work was completed he returned the car on time and explain all work had been thoroughly inspected and checked before returning, we also completed a test drive before leaving. I would use click mechanic and Patson again without hesitation.
