When I go out for a repair visit, I have to complete the job according to what is on the job booking request. Any other follow on work required that is not on the booking request would require its own booking request and be paid for accordingly. Any parts and labour for the job carry with them a warranty for 12months, which is enforceable either by contacting me directly or through the Clickmechanic resolution centre.

I do not normally respond to reviews, but I have to respond to this one, as you have accused me of a fraudulent and illegal act.

Normal procedures are that a case like this should be dealt with in the Click mechanic resolution centre, where you will be given support and advice.

Clickmechanic have robust customer protection policies in place and do take customer protection seriously.

You have stated here that I did not fit/install new parts on your vehicle.

Please provide the evidence. This very simple and here is how you do it, raise your case in the Clickmechanic resolution centre.

Let me give you an insight of how it will all playout. The evidence you provide will be reviewed by Clickmechanc’s own team of residence mechanics. If you do not have that evidence at the moment or cannot get it yourself, Clickmechanic will direct you to an independent garage, who will gather the evidence for you and file a report of their findings with Clickmechanic.

Here is what will happen should the evidence prove your allegations.
1) – I will be required and ordered to pay you back every penny you paid for the booking.
2) – I will be reported to the authorities for committing fraud.
3) – I will be struck off the Clickmechanic’s register of mechanics.
4) – You will have the right to seek further compensation.

So what is stopping you from providing the evidence?

One thing that is certain is that, you do not have the evidence, because I have the old parts I removed from your vehicle. I also have the receipts for the new parts I fitted on your vehicle.

If you knew much about your vehicle, you would know that the starter motor on your vehicle is located right at the front of the engine, in clear view once you open the bonnet.

It is ludicrous to think I would drive six hours(3hours each way) to you, take the gearbox apart, remove the old defective clutch and leaking concentric slave cylinder and starter motor, then fit the same old parts and make a vehicle that wouldn’t start and drive before the job began, start and drive. Then provide you with 12 months warranty for labour and parts. I do not have such super powers.

Thankfully the majority of customers I attend to appreciate the work I do and that’s what keeps me going, otherwise all this wouldn’t be worth it.
