All went well until I received a ULEZ penalty charge notice regarding the day the vehicle was collected.
After making a representation and this being denied (since I am the registered keeper of the car I am legally responsible to pay), I was repeatedly reassured by Raj that he was in contact with TFL to solve this matter.
I have now received a charge of £270 and was informed by TFL that no contact was made to them by Raj regarding this matter.
The total cost of the work done was £300.10. I am now paying £270 for a charge that had I been made aware of by Raj, I would have paid £12.50!

Raj had the car collected to fix the head gasket, this was on the 30th October, this job at best shouldn't have taken longer than a week, I was hoping to have it back before we went away at the end of that week, unfortunately we didn't, but hey that gave him an extra week to get it sorted.
We didn't get the car back until Saturday 23rd December with one excuse and broken date after another!!!!!
We collected the car, this had its own issues as the battery was dead which subsequently turned into a nightmare journey home, to make matters worse still, the car has come away with a fuel warning light that is permanently on, so this will now need to be fixed along with the wrecked interior where oily hands have been, albeit this has been denied.
The day after getting the car home, coolant levels were checked and found to be below minimum, the vehicle is going in soon for an independent AA check as I have no faith that what has been done will last. Read more

Raj was very friendly and knowledgeable, was able to identify a fault in car (fuel injectors) which hadn't been realised following months of issues and several trips to different garages.
Just waiting to hear quote for the fix (which is obviously on top of initial diagnostic work I requested) and looking forward to car running properly again.
Let me know was on way but in traffic so wasn't worried was going to no show as has happened with things (not car related) in past.
