I was intially worried about finding a mechanic who knew their way around a 20-year old Land Rover (Discovery 2, td5). Turns out that I needn't have worried, Oliver obviously knows these cars well! Communication was excellent, as was the work.

What a nightmare my experience has been with this company and the mechanic Oliver. I booked my car in for an alternator repair on fri they booked it in for Sat, Sun or Monday. Well Monday comes even though the money for the repair has left my bank account aswell my car has completely broken down I get a phone call Monday saying my part isn't in stock that I need to wait till Tuesday really? Why book the repair and charge me if you don't even know the part is in stock? I wasn't happy with the situation clearly tried expressing my frustration to the mechanic who just got arsey with me over it anyway I just wanted my vehicle repaired so booked it in for Tuesday. 10.40am Oliver arrives I go down and hand him the key 1.40pm he calls me and asks where is the nearest halfords because he forgot the jump leads to start it up I gave him directions about 30 mins later he calls me and says my car is all done all fixed. I thought brilliant went down I said its all done yes? No problems the car is running smoothly now? To which he replied yes no problems at all just give it a ggod drive let the alternator charge your battery I was pleased that he made the effort and repaired my car for me. An hour or 2 later when I start my car there's an Amber engine management warning light coming up flashing intermittently. I thought well hang on that light wasn't on before I had the repair. I contacted him and he stated it was already on before he started the work on my car to which I thought why are you lying because my car wouldn't even start so you couldn't have possibly seen any warning light besides the fact he needed to go to halfords to get jump leads to even start my car after it had been repaired again he was getting funny with me when I was questioning him being rude to me said it was my engine, my car it sounded rough I needed to get it looked at he wasn't there for other problems with my vehicle being extremely rude to me well I took it to one garage that said it might be the dpf pressure sensor but they didn't have the proper equipment to diagnose the problem. I thought my car was broke that it was going to be an extremely costly repair I am 7 months pregnant and have been so stressed with this situation now for nearly 2 weeks getting pains everything I've had to go see my doctor as i was worried all the stress was harming my baby so I booked it in to another garage for today had to catch taxis to get back and forth 4 hours later after the garage using all there diagnostic equipment taking it for a test drive checking under my bonnet they found the problem. Low and behold my dpf pressure sensor was unplugged and they stated it wasn't hanging out to be seen it was almost hidden out of sight that is why it took them so long to realise what the fault was so £80 in the garage and £30 in taxis is what this incompetent negligent irresponsible cowboy mechanic has cost me. I am so angry with him personally and this company i will never trust them again! To do this to anyone is bang out of order but especially to a vulnerable heavily pregnant woman. I was nearly going to sell my car for half its worth aswell because I thought it was going to cost me so much to get fixed. I don't know what Oliver was playing at it looked like he done it on purpose to get a few extra quid off me absolute shocking service scumbag mechanic and company. I will never use them in future. This is hand on heart a genuine honest review and I would take notice of this before you ever think if using this company or that mechanic in the future cruel, evil gold digging rip off merchants beware stay away from this company!!!!! Hi Alexandra we are sorry you feel that way however , it was not our fault in regards to payment being taken straight out of your account that is down to click mechanic that is so they can check to see that the funds are available and ready for when invoiced , once invoiced we dont get paid for a further 5 days then . In regards to the part that wasnt our fault that was down to supplier, the part I managed to get for you was actually more expensive but we covered the cost to get the job done for you , the job we performed was an alternator replacement as requested, in relation to your complaint saying I have caused more problems , your dpf issue has nothing to do with an alternator change , I asked to come and plug my machine in and see what the issue was and prove my work had nothing to do with your other issue but you failed to comply with my request , I would like to see all your solid evidence with this issue so we can provide a solution to complaint
