Belated thanks to Filip for early next morning inspection on a ridiculously cold Saturday. He was thorough and clearly explained everything, giving me options.
The 'belated' bit is due to a week's delay in confirming Filip's initial finding that it's a water pump issue (AA parts/labour cover requires their callout - also reckoned pump - and nominated garage diagnostic) - which was tricky as there are several potential causes of the heating problem. Filip is friendly, punctual and attested twice over as knowledgeable. Go ahead, book Filip, I would do so again without hesitation. I have recommended Filip and Click Mechanic to others.
