Honda CR-V Alternator replacement

Accepted job on Click Mechanic for a Thursday, misses time window, calls just after to offer collection on the Monday for an extra charge... Being desperate, I accept (wish I hadn't).
Then they didn't have the correct part, long story short, my car was there for over a week (to change an alternator). And icing on the cake, after being told having to re-order a different part would not incur a further cost, I got charged just over another £100.
So although I appreciate there was an element of bad luck involved, and the chap I dealt with was very polite and apologetic, it was overall a terrible experience.
I certainly will not be using that particular garage, or Click Mechanic, ever again.

Hi Julie, I'm really sorry the price became different to the quote. The quote comes from Click Mechanic's system, but the part they quoted for was not correct for your vehicle. The part took longer to obtain (there are many global parts supply issues currently) and unfortunately the correct part for your vehicle was significantly more expensive.
I hope my team still gave you a good level of service, despite the unavoidable cost difference.

Yes brilliant....as a medically disabled single woman, to have car picked up and returned is an excellent help!!!...they called me to let me know situation and have options....great service.....
Only downside, very expensive service,!! and they using my own petrol..!!... can't really understand how you justify £75....??
