The mechanic was friendly and knowledgeable. They resolved the problem sooner than was expected, which did leave me thinking how much labour have I paid for, for 30mins work.

They diagnosed a further problem with the heating system and gave me another quote to carry out the work. As I’m selling the car, I declined to do any further work on the vehicle.

The only downside was the finished quality of work. They accessed through the passenger side dashboard. However after putting the dashboard together again I noticed a clip missing on the side panel below the glove box and there was a metal clip in the middle tray by the handbrake. I didn’t know where it had came from. It didn’t look like it was for the panel fixing. The side panel under the glove box was loose because of a missing fixture. Also when opening the glove box it scrapped the side making a scraping noise, which it didn’t before. The dashboard was not aligned together properly.

So fast at working, but final quality suffered.

Maybe less speed and more care and attention is required.

I didn’t feel it was £400.00 worth of work which left me feeling flat about the whole experience.
