I initially booked a week before my appointment and was contacted the day before by the mechanic to confirm. I was told my car would be picked up at 9.30am. On the day 9.30 came and went. The mechanic then called and told me he’d be 10 mins. He arrived at around 11.20.
The car came back around 4.30 which was fine. Overall I was happy with the experience. Then I drove the car! Straightaway a warning light came on that engine coolant was low and to stop the car. I called the mechanic and left a message as I didn’t know what to do. I called a further 2 more times with no answer. In the end I had to google the issue and solution. When checking the coolant tank I discovered the cap wasn’t fitted properly and the coolant was low. An easy fix in the end but I don’t expect to finish off the job after I’ve paid a mechanic to do it. Read more

Andris was great, friendly and punctual and kept me up to date with everything.

Hbm mechanic Peterborough was excellent. Punctual, good communication for the extra work required and job still completed on time.

Turned up a little early, which I appreciate, was professional and courteous and returned my vehicle with the work done in a timely manner.

Very happy with the work carried out. I was limited on availability but Andris managed to fit me in, very friendly and a tricky job carried out to a high standard, thank you!

The mechanic did a great job after we eventually got the car to his workshop. I did request to be contacted prior to the vehicle being collected as I work odd hours, I ended up taking the day off work and calling the mechanic myself. He did turn up just after 9am in his own car and I was surprised when he just asked for the keys so he could drive my car to his workshop, when the vehicle was booked in I did say it was not drivable as the clutch had gone and it would require recovery if it had to go to a workshop. The mechanic said he would be back in 20mins with his vans but was over an hour until he returned and as his brother was not available I had to drive my vehicle under tow to his workshop. After removing the clutch he also recommended that the flywheel was replaced and I was happy to do this, but when it came to returning the vehicle he was unable to do this and I had to make arrangements to collect the vehicle. I was at first quite sceptical about using a service such as this, I must say that I was wrong. The ease of booking and amending, the prompt response and efficiency of communication from the website and Andris the Hbm mechanic really assured me. I am very happy with the work Andris did, he was very professional and even called when he was nearing the end of the job. I would definitely use this service again and have recommended it to my friends.

Difficulty with my old car in changing parts required were delt with expertly , I wIll use this engineer from now on
