Mechanic called to request earlier visit which suited me better.
Diagnosis of fault made and advised part would need to be sourced prior to costing.
Unfortunately cost was prohibitive to value if the car and decided not to proceed

Was very good, knew his stuff and didnt sugarcoat anything. He told me what he had done or tried with my car to get it started.

Even though ultimately he couldnt fix it there and then told me what had to be done and how long it would take and what the price would be.
