The stereotypical view of a garage is one of greasy overalls and a grease monkey , but the industry is changing. A few years ago, I decided to swap my mechanic's tools for a business toolbox and adopt a different approach to running my independent garage. It was quite an ambitious project for someone who wasn't from a typical business background, but it was a worthwhile and successful exercise. As a family-run garage business, it is up to us to market our business, win more trade and create a name for ourselves as an important part of the local business community.

We believe here at freelance mechanics Ltd we are the closest thing to a main dealer without the main dealer prices with a full set of training courses we complete every year making sure we are on track with modern day cars we use the latest diagnostic equipment which is the only one in the area what this means for the customer is we have access to technical support via the UK and Germany if we haven't or don't know the answer we will have it within 24hrs,step by step repair instructions for any car,wiring diagrams for any car we also have service portal for any car manufacturer for cars that don't have service books anymore the same has the main dealer,the only independent garage in the area to have direct links to the huge German manufacturing company ZF and been the only zf pro tech centre in the area you gain on site support main dealer dont even have this support. We where the first double clutch specialist in the area and we are the only double clutch specialist in the area that can undertake ford,vag group,Renaults double clutch systems the only IMI approved garage in clutch and dual mass flywheel in the area.
We also handle commercial contacts and write maintenance contracts for all types of businesses allowing credit terms up 120 days subject to credit checks.on the back of that we also allow spilt payment terms so for example your bill was £200 you would pay 25% when you pick your car up and then 25% for the next 3 months We can deal with all warranty company's for you taking the hassle away from you.
