Chevrolet Kalos Alternator drive/serpentine belt replacement

The mechanic after visiting advised that my car (Chevrolet Kalos 1.2 SE) has two serpentine belts, and he brought just one.
When asked, he said that both the belts are called as serpentine belts.
The mechanic messaged me to just ask whether the car contains power steering, but did not let me know about the number of belts required.
I can still hear the squeaking noise while starting the car.
I am not happy with the service provided.
I could have paid a bit more to fix the other belt as well as both are called serpentine belts.
One better thing he did was put the tape around the air intake hose which had a split.

Hello, This service is good and refreshing. However there could be some improvements made. For example, the problem i had was with my car door's lock. However i wasn't aware that i must have the new door lock ready with myself. Even though the mechanic made every effort he could to get the door lock working, i still felt that the experience could have been made better if i understood the problem beforehand rather than having a person to come and let me know the problem. This procedure is pretty close to what we have in the garage and their cost. I do agree that not all problems could be easily understood by everyone however minor problems could be easily discussed over phone before the mechanic's visit so that people could be ready with the necessary spare parts that could make the experience cheaper in the long run. Otherwise this entire idea would go the way of leaving the car in garage. Read more
