I'm so happy with the end to end service here. Our car started misfiring a few days before a big camping trip and our local garages didn't have space for us. We posted a job at 4pm on the Sunday night and Adam booked in for the next day within a couple of hours. He arrived on time and I explained what I thought the problem was. He was incredibly helpful and worked through the various potential causes of the problem (having come prepared with the parts I needed), letting me check the car at each stage of the repair so I knew what he was doing was neccessary. In terms of the actual work carried out I have no complaints, a service and taking the car for an MOT.
I do feel I was left in the lurch a bit when the car failed its MOT, I was just presented with a massive quotation for all the fail items plus advised items - This was over £850 worth of labour and parts (and some of this would only be to investigate a brake issue - so ultimately would have cost more when the issue was diagnosed) all on a car worth about the same amount. E.G. two new headlights because one failed due to being a bit yellow - £190 worth or parts and £264 labour quoted - Easily sorted to like new with a £16 polishing kit.
No advice on how to get a retest done.
Needless to say I didn't accept any of the quotes, got the essential work completed with about £60 worth of parts - MOT passed!
If there had been a bit of common sense and advice applied then I might have agreed to have some of the other work done via Click Mechanic Read more

Adam completed the work very well and quickly, also agreed a second visit to replace the brakes at a reasonable price within ten days. Very good indeed, second job through Click Mechanic and both very good.
