On road test all of the items were ticked to state as new ( i.e cruise control, clutch etc). We phoned the mechanic as we recorded the mileage when we went to view the car, a week ago and compared it to the mileage when we went to collect. It hadn’t been driven. We contacted the mechanic about this who stated there was an accident on the road and was unable to complete. This is rubbish as it’s on an industrial estate and could have been driven in either direction. Also he hadn’t advised us that it hadn’t been driven. Just ticked all the boxes stating all ok when not even tested.
I am really disappointed that we paid for a premium inspection including road test at £ 190 which was higher than rac and aa.
I cannot believe he didn't road test it, or advise us it hadn’t been driven. This seems like a total waste of money. Also there's a dent in roof wasn’t didn't pick up and Smokey exhaust fumes also not picked up
This is not a good service and now we are stuck with a car we are not happy with as we thought it had been properly checked out
We are considering legal action.

As I have said I actudenty tick box and that. as for the tinnist dent I did not pick up I am Human and we all make mistakes from time to time as for the fumes they had your back in the work shop for the oil leak! (Remember the one I told u about)Also as u r aware that where the car was can only go one way out as 1 Road works making road busy and the garage was very busy and the was a problem right out side actuden (out of my control) plus if I w8ting for this to carm down and then do the road test u would of had to pay 140 +vat for my add time! With me having a disability I red it wrong I have applegies for this!!!.

Josh was great, friendly and carried out his work meticulously. Once it was all done he even hung around and held my parking space while I took the car for a run, and made sure there were no further errors upon my return

Managed to find the exact problem with the car. RAC said I'd need a whole new transmission, this guy figured out it's just a sensor that needs replacing, saving me thousands!

Mechanic was great! Totally unimpressed with being charged £80 for the pleasure of being told what was wrong though, can absolutely guarantee that I will not be using you to get the repair carried out. Perhaps make your charges clearer and more transparent - we all know that it isn't the mechanics charging these rates - perhaps you need to ask your customers to review "ClickMechanic" also, I think you'll find that the responses are a little different.
