Michal arrived within 10 minutes of the time I'd booked which was ok as I knew it was about a two hour job to replace the ten years old alternator on my Volvo XC60 automatic. He'd brought a new one with him of a good brand.....Lucas....ready to fit. As the work was done on my front drive I wasn't surprised to hear it's more difficult for the mechanic to do such a job single handed and without an elevating ramp. He'd brought a meaty pump action heavy jack with him so that enabled him to drop the old unit out from underneath the engine. It took 2.5 hours to finish the job and the car then started sweetly without hesitation for the first time for about a year. ....yay. Michal advised me to take it for a good run for about 15 mins to get the battery recharged ready to start the next day. Brilliant job, all discs and pads replaced as advised were bad, mechanic even pointed out a broken rear coil spring that I didn’t notice! Well done, quick, easy and effective roadside car fix for cheap too. Some other big brand named garages were charging me more than double what click mechanic quoted me.

Michal turned up promptly, however he discovered it was the wrong part, an error by the supplier. He returned the following day, with the correct part and completed the job. Three days on and the car is going well. Michal was quick and efficient, happy to recommend him.

Michal was so friendly and understanding when I couldn’t find my locking wheel nut. He held the parts and came back the following week after I’d bought a new one. Work was done quickly and efficiently at home.

Michal was a great mechanic and very knowledgeable. I booked him in to change a front wheel bearing in my car after a clicking noise coming from that side of the car. After inspecting it he identified a different issue which was cheaper to sort out, which he did. I am grateful for his honesty and work. For certain I will book him in for any further work.
