First time I have used ClickMechanic. Wazir arrived on time replaced my battery and took my car for an MOT. He kept me informed on timings - I was very pleased with the service I received.

The mechanic turned up 20 mins early and my husband had taken the car out. He was back at the time of the slot but the mechanic started to get a bit irritated before that which I thought was a bit out of order.

I needed new front tyres and there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with texts to find the right tyres. They did not seem to know what I meant by premium tyres (as I needed them for the lease car) and did not communicate with me properly. There was a language issue which did not help. The mechanics had to keep the car overnight and the next day I had to keep chasing to find out when the car would be back. They dropped it back much later than they told me and I had to keep chasing.

The mechanic was friendly.
To know if the mechanic was knowledgable, I would need to understand cars, which I don't. On the same lines, I cannot know if the work was satisfactory because it was not case of a drained battery - this was scheduled replacement of brake disc and pads, which were already working.
I cannot judge quality, like most people who own cars, and therefore I cannot rate the service as 1* or 5*, hence the middle rating.

Wazir telephoned to say pickup of my car would be delayed until later in the morning. This was OK. But it could have been a problem if I hadn’t been able to arrange cover for the revised pickup time. That said, the work has been carried out quickly and, on the face of it, competently - so I am satisfied overall.
