Not particularly. Asked for a check on oil out light and a scraping noise under car. No comment on oil out light and scraping noise was cited on MOT check so no check carried out prior to MOT which failed on this and other things. Now have to take car to a garage to get it fixed which defeats the object of getting a mechanic come out. This makes it a very expensive process. Nice idea but didn't work for me.

Be very careful. After reading through the website and reviews, I thought the service ClickMechanic has to offer was great, especially during the COVID-19 circumstances, the contactless service was offered, the mechanic comes to your home, I was sold. The mechanic gave good communication, arrived on time, but said he can’t complete the service as he couldn’t get a valve off. He said he could try but he doesn’t want to make a mess or for anything to leak. I was told by him to take my car to a garage. The mechanic then told me that he wanted to go home now and spend some time with his family for a few weeks through the COVID-19 isolation. I was left feeling like he made excuses to avoid the work and certainly didn’t seem to be interested in fulfilling the service ClickMechanic offer. I didn’t push him on doing the work as he already seemed to be lacking interest which then made me lose trust that he’d do the job to a good standard. So, I took my car to the garage, where it was serviced and MOT’d within a couple of days. The Mechanic cancelled my service and MOT, advising me I won’t be charged as he’s been unable to carry out the work request, yet I was then penalised by a £40 cancellation fee, I was happy for all work to go ahead as I wanted my car to be maintained, yet he cancels and I’m the one who has to pay for that. I am currently in discussion with ClickMechanic about this £40 charge. I am now sceptical about how they choose their mechanics and will not use this service again.
