Steve arrived a little later than scheduled, but telephoned early to let me know, so that was not a problem. I had booked him to change brake pads and discs, but he first checked to make sure I really needed the discs, as if they were still in reasonable condition that would have been a considerable saving. In the event, the inside of the disc was badly scored so new ones were definitely needed. He showed me the damage to the disc so that I knew the work was necessary, and then got the job done quickly and efficiently. Having Steve to do the work on my drive was so much more pleasant than having to drive to a garage, get home and then go to pick the car up again, and much more reasonably priced.
