Audi A4 Avant Clutch replacement

I am very unhappy with the work that was carried out. Allegedly fixed one fault but created another. After a large repairs bill, the car is unusable.

you question my expertise in automatic gearboxes. yet the mechanic you have returned to to check the car did he or did he not originally diagnose the fault with your car as a clutch issue hence your original booking was for a clutch replacement
as you are well aware your car dose not have a clutch system we informed you off this and asked how you would like us to proceed
we removed your gear box and found a faulty fly wheel with a large amount off excessive play / movement we have and sent you video evidence of this and stated to you we did not think this would be the end off your issues
you instructed us to fit the fly wheel and see how things went
(leaking oil from the gearbox it means that one of the seals is damaged.
)
this is correct and this is what we explained to you could be a issue this is caused buy the excessive play / movement in your faulty fly wheel we supplied you the old part and have video evidence off this we made this clear to you and had a conversation with you about you finding a second hand gear box and we would fit this for you at a discounted rate to help you out as you you was originally only expecting the cost of a clutch replacement but unfortunately due to you having it wrongly diagnosed in the first place was not the case
i feel in this case i have been more then fair offering to fit a second hand gear box you supply at a discounted labour rate i offered this before your accusations and the offer still stands

Peugeot 208 Timing chain replacement

Exceptionally friendly and helpful with calls to let me know what was going on with the pick up and what work was going to be undertaken. Did the work in a day - changed the timing chain and water pump and delivered the car back to me. This was the first time I have not used a dealer (my car is now getting quite old) and I am very pleased. Will use them again.

Excellent communication since the beginning. Pick up & drop off was on time. They also check & ask me if I wanted to top up the antifreeze as it was low, this was not in the original workscope but clearly they check & make sure everything is good. I didn't have any issues since I received the car back last Friday. Can't evaluate the quality of work, but definitely have no complaint so far.

I needed a new head gasket and Dave kept me updated every few days with the progress of the repair. He was very friendly, professional, well spoken and conscientious. Once the work was completed, he assured me they would test drive the car to make sure it was safe. The car was then beautifully cleaned, inside and out and returned to me in perfect working order.
Couldn't be happier with the excellent level of customer service and very reasonable price. Will 100% use again in the future.
