Trev was amazing.. turned up on time to collect my vehicle.. informed me what diagnostics he would employ to solve the issue.. called me to report issue was sorted and returned vehicle to my home.. very happy indeed with the service provided.. I have another 3 vehicles at home and i shall be using Trev to service all .. thanks again Trev for sorting the issue on my truck.. most excellent service.. highly recommended

Trev was great, let me know about work that could be done and had the car back promptly working fine.

Unfortunately it was not good news as after Trev used the diagnostic tablet and mechanics stethoscope, it would seem that injectors 2 and 4 had blown. After clearing the faults, after restarting they would not reappear, leading to the conclusion that there was something more sinister afoot and the engine would need stripping to further diagnose. Now a decision is to be made. Thanks to Trev for following up to advise of potential parts, prices and work required.

From the first contact to collecting and returning the car after a service and m.o.t. all was as it should be. I could actually see that the car had been serviced properly and the difference when driving it.
I requested that the spark plugs be replaced ,but after inspection I was told at this stage it was not required saving me money as the cost was removed from the original estimate.

Honest excellent service and fair pricing - what more can you ask?? Having had several bad experiences with other garages on the IOW including quoting for work that did NOT need doing, Trevor from Vectis garage is a very wellcome breath of fresh air. There is an honest mechanic out there - and he is it!! I completely and totally reccommend his services.
