Diagnosed faulty injector preventing starting. Recommended they need coding. This engine does not require coding of injectors. Fault in injector already known and not preventing starting. No attempt to crank made during a non start inspection

I have no problem coming back to re check this .
I have had plenty injectors stop cars from starting ,had i known from the start injector 4 was already faulty i could have looked in other places ,but i think it was your dad i spoke to that did not give me any indication you knew about that fault ,hence why i said injector 4 and possible check to fuel pump which may also be cause.
Crank and cam sensors were working when computer diagnostic was carried out.
I believe any other garage would say you need to start at the injector if a vital component like this is not working and theres nothing obvious this faulty injector would possibly cause faults and incorrect readings leading a mechanic to the wrong conclusion

Russell text me the day before to confirm he would be arriving the next day as requested. On the day he arrived ahead of schedule and had called ahead to let me know he was en-route. He did a test drive and showed me what the problem was (which you don't get with a garage), and the quote to fix the problem is reasonably priced. Russell was friendly and informative.
