Fiat Idea Battery replacement (vehicles without stop/start system)

This is the first time that I have used this service and I am extremely disappointed. While Wayne Mitchell was quick to accept the work and was prompt to turn up. He completed a diagnostic which identified a fault with the battery which he replaced the following day. He did not however carry out any further checks and my car broke down again 24hrs later. A garage later identified that it was the alternator which wasn't charging the battery. They also pointed out that the terminal to the battery has also been recently broken making the connection very loose. I have tried numerous times to contact Wayne and he has not contacted me back. It cost me nearly £160 for the problem not to be resolved and needing to get my car towed and fixed by a garage! Read more

A diagnostic check was done on your battery it was down to 2% this is why we replaced the battery!
I also suggested if you have any more problems the alternator would need replacing!
You sent me a text I replied you didn’t come back to me!

Wayne was great and did a great job.
However I was quoted £130 extra for the job due to Clickmechanic's poor administration, due to them quoting me an incorrect price for the task to be completed.
One would've thought that Clickmechanc's Quoting Department could've provided accurate information.
I will probably go straight to a Moble Mechanic in the future and miss out Clickmechanic altogether!
