Sam was friendly, diagnised the problem quickly and explained the fix succinctly. Then kept in contact to let me know when he would arrive to do the repair, let me know how long it would take, fixed, test-drove, and completed the job as advertised. - I would recommend him to anyone.

I didn't actually meet Sam (his work was done at the car dealer's) but the report seemed very thorough and it was extremely helpful for my car purchase. He identified a number of problems that I would never have spotted myself. Well worthwhile.

Yes, all good thanks. Sam spotted the broken rear spring which was helpful.
My only issue was that the wheels were said to be in good condition on the external face but three were corroded, one badly so. Refurb' of all 4 split rims to match was £576.00 OUCH!

One further issue. HPI promotes Clickmechanic on the HPI website. HPI says not to rely on a VIN number being provided by a seller - yet the ClickMechanic report does not provide this VIn number. Also ClickMechanic could offer the further service of a diagnostic check as part of the pre purchase inspection (for an optional additional cost).

Not sure of the outcome yet as I haven't actually driven the car, Sam didn't have the correct coolant so I have to buy some first but he arrived on time, seemed knowledgeable and did the job outside my house and quite quickly. Was very happy with the service.
