NO WORK CARRIED OUT, NOT HAPPY ONE BIT, MECHANIC WAS ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS THATS IF HE EVEN WAS A MECHANIC, SPENT 30 SECS TELLING ME WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR ON THE BASIS OF THE INFORMATION I HAD ALREADY SUBMITTED REALLY , HAD NO TOOLS WITH HIM, TURNED UP IN A PLAIN CAR, AND ONLY PLUGGED IT INTO A DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE WHEN I ASKED HIM TO SO THAT HE COULD PROVE HIS ALLEGED FINDING TO ME, WHICH HE DID BUT THE DIAGNOSTIC SHOWED NOTHING TO BACK UP HIS CRAZY THEORY THAT THE ENGINE HAD NO COMPRESSION AND WAS NOT TURNING OVER COMPLETE RUBBISH. WHY DID YOU SEND A MECHANIC FROM A GERMAN CAR SPECIALIST WHEN MY CAR IS JAPANESE AND TOTALLY DIFFERENT BEING A ROTARY ENGINE. THIS GUY DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHERE THE PLUG WAS FOR MACHINE AND COULDNT GET AWAY QUICK ENOUGH AS IF HE COULDNT NOT BOTHERED , I THEN RING YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE THE NEXT DAY WHO ARE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL AS WELL YOU SHOULD BE VETTING YOUR MECHANICS PROPERLY TO CONFIRM THEY ARE MECHANICS AND NOT BAKERS OR PLUMBERS AS THIS GUY COULD HAVE BEEN ANYTHING HE LIKED. POOR SHOW AND I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF £57 FOR 10 MINS OF FAKE NESS AND STILL DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN AND WILL BE POSTING ON AS MANY SOCIAL MEDAI SITES ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE SO OTHER PEOPLE DONT GET ROBBED BY BOGUS MECHANICS Read more

Dear Sir, we sorry you feel let down by our mechanics service. As the garage owner, I was not present, however I have spoken to the mechanic in question, I assure you he is a seasoned mechanic and auto electrician. Yes your car is special to you and does require good care and service and workmanship, however, you have only booked a diagnostic and as such diagnostics are done according to the cars state upon ones visit to the customers premises.

Maybe it would have been best to have requested in your booking that only a mobile mechanic come out to you and then maybe follow your guide and even fix the car for you.


We are a garage, and would be more than happy to offer further investigation, diagnostic of your car, while it is here in the garage, and our full set of machinery and tools at our disposal to fix the car for you. Alex was a pleasure to liaise with. I hadn’t used ClickMechanic before so I was initially skeptical to have them carry out a large job on my car (whole heater matrix replacement), however Alex was so professional. The driver who came to pick up my car was reassuring and let me know when he was picking up my car and arrived on time. Alex informed me as soon as the driver had dropped my car to him, and kept me constantly updated. He notified me of the diagnosis that was carried out and what needed to be done. When he couldn’t get a part other than directly from the manufacturer he let me know that there may be a delay on the work depending on when the part arrived, and gave me a realistic timeline. Even with the wait for the part, the work was carried out in half the time my dealership quoted me and was to a high standard. When I picked up my car he showed me everything that was done and provided excellent customer service telling me to let him know if I found any issues with the work he had carried over the next few months and to bring my car back to him so he could look at it again. Very happy so far, felt safe driving my car away, and had no issues so far. Absolute value for money and peace of mind. Would highly recommend him and ClickMechanic. Read more
