Both Kami and the ClickMechanic team were totally perfect. In the normal world, I would have contacted RAC who I have fort breakdown cover but because of Covid19 they have stopped providing car inspection services which, happily for me, meant I was fortunate enough to find ClickMechanic and Kami online.
From start to finish the service provided was first class, and I was kept fully informed every step of the way.
Kami made contact with me very quickly after I registered with ClickMechanic, and actually inspected the Peugeot 308 I intended to buy the day after I made contact. He also kept me fully informed on progress and rang me with a verbal report following his inspection. The full, and extremely comprehensive, written report was actually with me as a pdf document. As a result of the inspection by Kami, several minor faults were identified and Kami agreed with the dealership that they wouod make good these defects prior to handing the car over to me.

Kami was the perfect man for the job, pre-purchase inspection of BMW 1 series, I had some niggling concerns after first viewing the car, and Kami carried out a very comprehensive inspection, with his experience of the marque being especially valuable. He pointed out several 'hidden' problems with the engine & suspension which would have been costly to put right, so made my decision to walk away & find a better example an easy one. He also spoke with the sales garage to advise him of the problems at first hand, and they then immediately offered me a full refund of my deposit without any hassle.
I consider the £170- fee for a premium inspection to be money very well spent, I would have been buying a whole lot of trouble otherwise.
