I have never used click mechanic or indeed Mark - the mechanic who undertook the work. I was amazed by the professional, courteous and superb service from Mark. He arrived on time, calling ahead to ensure that I was still okay for the work to be undertaken. He took my car to his workshop (in the meantime I was able to carry on with life as normal) and a couple of hours later, my car was brought back with new brake discs and pads all round.

This is definitely the way forwards for so many reasons:

Convenience - I booked the day prior and the work was completed the following day. I didn't even leave my house

Communication - Mark kept me informed throughout and checked with me ref collection of my car.

Professionalism - I have had my brakes replaced at some of the "quick stop/tyre/exhaust service centres" and they always come back with a problem. A squeak or squeal from the brakes. Once I even had the electronic handbrake stick on and the car towed away. Mark returned the car in perfect order and his skills, knowledge and experience are evident.

Price - yep, it has to be mentioned. I was quoted almost double the price charged by Mark and this shows that he offers value for money. I understand that everyone has to make a living, but the main dealers and the quick stop service centres are charging for their "image". Mark provided a fair and realistic price.

It is great to be able to support a small local business and I shall be asking him to replace the discs and pads on my wife's car next. Read more
