I good quick report the car is in my local Garage for a full Service and the one thing he appears to have missed is a broken suspension coil on the rear wheel
But for the price I got a pretty good idea that there was nothing major wrong with the vehicle

Hi Sidney,
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to point out that a pre purchase inspection is a snap shot into the vehicles condition at the point of inspection. The majority of mechanical and electrical issues can and will be picked up.
Unfortunately a coil spring can break at any moment. Pot holes, speed bumps, all of these things can cause a spring to break.
Unless a coil spring is showing heavy corrosion on a visible section of the spring, it is impossible to see if a coil spring is weak.
