2 missed appointments ... 3rd time lucky! Great job mechanically .. No fuss at all... However.. . Not impressed with the automated Quote system... Quoted price of £142.15... Dealership quoted £183 (plus I'd loose the car for a day) ..so naturally went for the cheaper option and being without car for1- 2 hours .
I Actually ended up paying £225 (de conflicting cost of new parts) so I think I've been mugged off!!
Have emailed company with my complete experience ... Have only received an email to say 'they are looking into it!!'
There should be a cascade system so if one mechanic can't do the job .
.. See if another one can! Task took roughly 90 mins... But had to wait 5 days for it to happen!! (Easter Holidays! & no effective car for the duration! So not a happy bunny!)
In the US and most of Europe you get looked after as a 'customer' because they want you to come back..why is this not so in the UK? I will in future, opt for loosing my vehicle for a day that I choose and pay the original quoted price where the sale of goods act means something!!

We have been charged for 1.60 hrs but the mechanic was on site for only half an hour. I don't think the inspection can have been properly carried out in that time and do not feel confident to go ahead with the purchase. I would like a refund. I am only happy to pay for thirty minutes work.

Jay was late but as the appointment was booked late the previous day and he was not able to get the parts locally that was acceptable . He did ring within the appointment time to let me know that he would be late. When Jay arrived he worked quickly and efficiently.
