Simon B
I began my career in the motor trade in 2005, working at my father's independent garage, where I gained extensive hands-on experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Over the past 20 years, I have developed a comprehensive knowledge of vehicle mechanics, working on everything from routine servicing and general repairs to more complex mechanical and electrical faults.

My experience includes engine repairs, clutches, timing belts, braking systems, suspension, steering, diagnostics, electrical fault finding, DPF issues and much more.

I am also a former MOT tester, giving me a strong understanding of vehicle safety, roadworthiness and MOT requirements.

I now operate my own mobile mechanic business, Driveway Mechanics, providing professional vehicle repairs and maintenance at customers' homes and workplaces.

I pride myself on honest advice, reliable workmanship, attention to detail and providing a friendly, professional service. My aim is always to diagnose faults accurately, carry out repairs to a high standard and get customers safely back on the road. Read more
