This mechanic really worried my 73 year old mum. First of all he phoned her and tried to persuade her to pay cash telling her that his card reader was broken. He then turned up late and complained that she hadn’t diagnosed the problem properly but by this time she had spoken with a neighbour who had jumped started her car and they took it round to Halfords. The issue was that the battery had drained. Click mechanic were due to charge £160 for a new battery - this is a 1.2 Micra. Halfords fixed this for £72. Mechanic eventually charged a £53 call out fee which click mechanic have refunded, thankfully.
