Nikos was absolutely incredible, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

He arrived on time, had excellent communication throughout, and very quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my car. He then carried out a thorough check and identified the two things that needed replacing, clearly explaining the issues and what I needed to do next.

He was able to get my car started, but what I appreciated most was that he didn’t simply leave once the car was running. He followed me in his own car to Halfords to make sure that if my car stalled or broke down again on the way, he would be there to help me. It was only a short local journey, but that reassurance was invaluable. It was a particularly stressful day for me as I had my two young children with me, and knowing that I wasn’t going to be stranded with them made such a difference.

Once we arrived at Halfords, Nikos stayed and supported me through the process of getting the battery changed. He also advised me clearly on the next steps, including the work needed on my alternator, so I now know exactly what needs to be done and can rebook with him for the additional work.

Nikos was knowledgeable, professional, incredibly patient and kind. His communication was excellent, and he went far beyond what I would have expected to make sure I was supported at a particularly vulnerable and stressful time.

Nico’s was very kind and patient. He took time to find out what I felt the problem was and then explain it in layman’s terms. Poor service. The technician turns up on time but was pretty clueless, spent hardly any time working on the vehicle to diagnose it wrong… to have to then take it elsewhere and have is diagnosed correctly, lesson learnt… wouldn’t use this service again. I’d wait and use real mechanics’s next time.

As a first-time buyer, having an independent expert inspect the vehicle gave me real confidence before spending my money. I would highly recommend this service to anyone buying a used car. It was money well spent and provided valuable peace of mind.
