Work was straightforward and completed on time. Mechanic was punctual

The mechanic who turned up was good. He diagnosed the problem being the CV joint. Although after doing some research I realised I needed some specifics as to which part of the CV joint, turns out there is an outer and inner joint but when trying to query this after the mechanic visit, I didn't get a response.

The garage owner Mo, was quick to quote me £200 for the repair before I had got a diagnostic report on the actual issue itself. On request he did provide me one although he had to be prompted several times. He was more concerned with payment which for whatever reason click mechanics must have delayed to him. The price I was quoted was £66.39 which was what was agreed on and payment details provided but once the mechanic had visited, that had changed and I was charged £81.03. I was told this was due to tolls/charges by Mo.

I sent click mechanics an email regarding this to support@clickmechanic.com on 10/07/2026 and I have yet to receive a response. I don't believe I will. This will be my first and last experience with click mechanic services. Read more

Mo was really good, job's a good un.
I did think the work would be done on my drive, so wasn't mad about the £120 recovery charge, but to be honest i can't see how a mini clutch could be changed without a ramp.So pretty pleased. A map of where the garage is would be a good idea. Kevin
