The mechanic was fine, but I had to wait almost a week to get the report on the pre-sales car check. This is unacceptable.

The job seems to be done correctly, however it did cost me an extra £90 more than the qute and took longer than I had expected.

Hi Tony, I've just read your review and I've also gone through your invoice and you were NOT charged an extra £90.00, you were advised that your timing belt needed changing as it had cracks and looked very old and the cost was given to you and you DECLINED the job as you didn't have enough funds and you said that you will get the belt changed next month. We strongly advised you to change it and we were very RELUCTANT putting the old belt back on and we also said to you that if we put back on the old belt WE will NOT be held liable for any damages going wrong if the belt snaps or breaks and you agreed to this. Yes you were right we did ring and tell you that we needed to get a tool which we did not have at the time and we did ring you to tell you this. I feel it's a bit wrong of you to leave so low scores where we do our very up most best to deliver a excellent service for all of our customers and we like to feel that our customers have had a good experience from us. BMW 3 Series MOT with collection & delivery

Picked the car up on time and did all the work but the service light is still on. I dont know if I have selected the wrong thing on the website (Did I need to select diagnostic test as well as service?)
Also the garage was in Leeds - I'm in Doncaster - so a 40 min drive each way has used a fair bit of deisel. I know the garage is selected on who is available etc but it would have been nice to get some one a bit closer - not the end of the world but a bit annoying.
The car smelled of smoke when returned - I think the driver was a smoker (I dont think he was smoking in my car)

I didnt realise the mechanic would be sourced from so far as Leeds,i was expecting a local garage.if he wasnt able to repair it roadside then a tow truck would have had to be called in.
I agreed to the extra work carried out because i would still have had to pay a £40 call out fee regardless and then source it from a local garage.

not happy that the garage was in Leeds which is 60 mile or more round trip and not happy with price of £50.00 for 2 bulbs.

Hi Susan, I've just checked the invoice and you was NOT just charged £50.00 for two light bulbs. You was charged £50.00 for headlight alignment and two headlight bulbs, I think that was quite fair in what you was charged. We do not over charge customers or do unesasery work that doesn't need doing, I would like to think that we are fair and do a honest job.
