The vehicle was collected as agreed and the work has been completed. However, communication throughout the process was disappointing. I had to repeatedly call ask for updates, as very little information was provided proactively regarding the status of my car.
The vehicle ended up being with the garage for six days, which was not communicated at the outset. Better transparency about the expected timeframe would have been appreciated.
The day after collecting the car, I asked them to investigate a knocking issue related to the steering. They agreed to look into it, but it does not appear that any meaningful inspection was carried out. I was told that steering fluid had been added and to monitor whether the noise persisted. However, my vehicle is equipped with electric power steering and does not use power steering fluid, which did not inspire confidence in the diagnosis.
Overall, while the car was returned as arranged, the lack of communication and the handling of the follow-up concern left me dissatisfied with the experience. Read more
