The Garage took tge vehicle to their workshop ,someone picked car up then delivered when completed .
Everyone seemed nice enough to speak too...i just felt we were the ones asking for updates or info regarding the car than the Garage updating us !.
Little more communication need on their behalf .

After booking with Manchester auto ltd via click mechanics, the worker confirmed prompt and arrived on time.
I fix the fault just before he arrived. Turns out I didn’t need a new battery as the wire had come away. I was charged £74.63 for the call out/labour and £15 for priority call. Bit much for trying to twist a unmovable bolt and taking a photo of my dash. I get he traveled to drive out to me, but was expecting £50 at the most. I wasn’t informed on the charge just told me to phone the office and rushed off, literally there 5 minutes. Office didn’t confirm the charge either. Original quote was £155.
86 for the battery replacement.
Good service as they come to you. I would use again in emergency as they come to you.

When our mechanic arrived at your location, it became clear that the original booking needed to be amended, and we requested this through ClickMechanic. Our technician also spent approximately 30 minutes travelling each way to attend your appointment.
Please note that ClickMechanic also deducts a commission from the amount you pay, and under their standard policy, bookings cancelled within 24 hours are normally chargeable in full.
However, in your case, we tried to keep the costs as low as possible.
We arranged for the battery we had ordered to be returned and only charged you for one hour of labour to cover the technician's travel time, rather than charging the full cancellation amount.
We always aim to be fair and transparent with our customers, and we're sorry we weren't able to meet your expectations on this occasion. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best.

They didn’t ask what’s wrong I told them the fault just changed a part and left it was the wrong part and when I phoned just said they did what they was told what a scam

The job was booked specifically to replace the fuel pressure sensor, and our mechanic completed this work successfully within the agreed time frame.
After the replacement was completed, the customer advised that the fuel gauge was not working. We explained that this is a separate issue from the fuel pressure sensor replacement and that we would be happy to book the vehicle into our workshop to diagnose the cause of the fuel gauge fault.
However, the customer requested a refund for the fuel pressure sensor replacement. We declined this request because the work was completed correctly, the requested repair was carried out successfully, and there was no fault with our workmanship or the service provided.

Honda CR-V Alternator replacement

!!HORRENDOUS AND DANGEROUS!!
Botched the repair, damaging the part replaced and causing the vehicle to break down on the motorway.
RAC report found work that was “not even close to a DIY standard”.
The garage is now in breach of consumer law, withholding a refund.

Hi,
The job was booked to replace the alternator. Due to the age of the vehicle, the correct alternator was difficult to source, as our usual local parts suppliers no longer stocked this model. We were able to source a suitable alternator from a specialist supplier at approximately half the cost of the original part.
Our mechanic fitted the replacement alternator correctly, and it was operating as intended. However, during the installation, the electrical connector from the original alternator became faulty due to its age and brittleness.
The customer was keen to have the vehicle back for the weekend.
As it was a Saturday and most parts suppliers were closed, our mechanic repaired the existing connector as securely as possible to get the vehicle back on the road.
When the customer later reported an issue with the connector, we immediately apologised and offered to replace it with a genuine connector sourced from the main dealer. Unfortunately, the customer declined this offer and instead requested a full refund for the alternator replacement, despite acknowledging that the alternator itself had been fitted correctly and was functioning as expected.
As we had completed the agreed repair successfully and remained willing to rectify the damaged connector, we were unable to agree to a full refund. Following this, the customer became dissatisfied and left a negative review.
