MINI Mini Diagnostic Inspection

I am not happy with the work they carried out because no work been done. I got my question back as an answer for what i reason I have called them not the solution. There was an oil around engine so, oil leakage. There was an electrical fault so, you got some electrical issue's.. waste of money 101£ for nothing

Hi, thank you for your feedback. During the diagnostic inspection, we identified oil leaking into the spark plug area from the rocker cover area, and the engine was also producing abnormal smoke at the time of inspection. We also found multiple engine fault codes present. As the vehicle had already had recent repair work carried out in this area, we advised removing the rocker cover again, checking everything carefully, and refitting with quality parts to rule out any issue there first. Because the engine was not running correctly, some of the fault codes may have been secondary rather than the root cause. On vehicles with systems such as VANOS and Valvetronic, multiple faults can be logged when there is an underlying running issue. A diagnostic inspection is intended to identify faults and point towards the likely cause, however further testing would be needed to confirm the exact root cause once the confirmed leak had been addressed.
