Very disappointing experience. I booked a glow plug replacement through ClickMechanic expecting to be matched with a mechanic who was able to carry out the job.

The mechanic arrived, inspected the vehicle and told me he could not complete the repair because he did not have the specialist equipment required once the glow plug could not be removed. No work was carried out.

Despite this, I was still charged a cancellation fee. From my point of view, I paid for a service that I did not receive. I understand that the mechanic spent time travelling, but as a customer I do not believe I should have to pay because the job could not be completed due to limitations in equipment.

What disappointed me even more was ClickMechanic's handling of my complaint. Rather than taking responsibility for assigning a mechanic who could not complete the work, they sided with the mechanic and refused to issue a full refund.

If your vehicle has anything other than a straightforward repair, I would think very carefully before using this service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ClickMechanic. Read more

Wajid was brilliant he new his job and completed the work in a timely manner he was very knowledgeable and informative I would highly recommend him to any future customer 10/10 from me I hopefully will use him again very very satisfied with my new clutch and flywheel.

Waj had good communication, was knowledgeable about the vehicle and stripped down the van to replace the clutch, not a simple job.
All done in a timely manner and just a few days after booking. Very happy with the work done.
