Kia Rio Diagnostic Inspection

The mechanic was late, which I overlooked as I thought all would be good when th repair was done. He took at most a quatre of an hour to diagnose the fault and do a health check of the vehicle, which I thought was quite a short time to check everything for good health! Again, I with-held judgement until the repair was made, which it turns out was not to be.
Regarding communication, I am hard of hearing and although I explained this, he had little time to talk and even put the phone down on me this morning!

The phone was not put down on you sir the records on our end show this
as stated multiple times the initial issue was parts sourcing over the bank holiday weekend and unfortunately today my work partner had an emergency and was unable to attend
We attempted to call you at least 5 times to which you didnt answer and the call you refer to either failed or was ended at your end
Apologies for your perceived experience but I have all the records here and you were in fact kept fully up to date and we attempted to contact you with good time prior to timeslot despite not responding to any text communications and then not answering calls either until past the booking time
Once again apologies for not being able to make the repairs .

Blooming marvellous. Polite, within time frame, and all sorted within 15 minutes!! And told me if plays up again (warning light) to just message him and he will look at it again for me 😁 I was a tad nervous as it’s paid upfront but honestly I will never be nervous about click mechanic again!

On day of work, I got a message to say they could not park/work in my area and would have to come back the next day to take the car away, even though I had mentioned on the form that my car was on a road with no garage/hard standing. Arrived 40mins late the next day, which messed with my plans once again. When the car was given back the log book was not signed or stamped for the full service and has left me in doubt of whether the work I paid for was actually carried out. They seemed reluctant to fill anything out

Hi there as discussed during visit after spotting the area of air leak i needed to consult parts diagrams to determine part at fault
Whilst the cost of repair may seem high most of this is labour as on the Mercedes engines the manifold isnt easily accessible
