It was clear the mechanic didnt want to listen to me. They done all their checks and told my partner it could be battery or the starter... didnt investigate enough. My next door neighbour came out to us not 10 minutes after and used a can of easy start in the air intake while bump starting it and its now running fine. I wasted all that money for nothing. I dont recommend these 2 mechanics at all
Others I've had are good but not this one.

I understand your frustration and I’m sorry that you felt your concerns were not fully addressed at the time. When we inspected the vehicle, our checks indicated that the most likely causes for the non-start condition were related to the battery or starter as that’s what showed up on our diagnostics machine when plugged in, based on the symptoms present during our visit. At that point, the vehicle was not running, which limited further diagnosis.
Issues related to DPF cleaning additives and clogging can sometimes present differently, and without the engine running, it is not always possible to immediately confirm this as the cause.
The use of easy start can help get an engine running temporarily, but it is not a diagnostic or long-term repair solution and is not something we would normally use due to potential risks.

Hayley and her business partner were very friendly and approachable. They are open and honest about what it is and gave me a good advice with information/assessment result. i needed a merchanic for a diagnostic test on my car after fitting a new starter motor i still couldn't get my car to start, Hayley was my merchanic for the diagnostic testing, had a few faults which Hayley was able to clear, recommended to try and change the starter motor again as this seems to be the problem, thanks for your help, arrived on time and was very helpful
