I cannot recommend this mechanic based on my experience. I booked a Full Service, and the completed checklist recorded numerous checks as having been carried out. I subsequently found reasons to question whether all of those checks had actually been completed properly.

I raised the matter through ClickMechanic and provided independent evidence. ClickMechanic then referred the case to its in-house mechanic team for technical review. Following that review, ClickMechanic said there were concerns about checks potentially having been missed and recommended refunding the entire £116.66 labour value, which was subsequently refunded.

I want to be fair and make clear that the mechanic may well have completed the other service work recorded on the checklist. I cannot establish that he did not. However, once I discovered apparent problems with some of the recorded checks, it inevitably left me uncertain about how much reliance I could place on the rest of the checklist.

Unfortunately, the mechanic's subsequent conduct made that uncertainty worse rather than reassuring me. When I initially raised the issues, I thought it was unlikely that the core service work had not been done. By the end of the complaint process, his extremely poor handling of legitimate questions had actually reduced my confidence in the work rather than restored it. That does not prove that other work was not carried out, but I was ultimately left unable to have confidence in what had and had not been done.

I was also very unhappy with his communication. Rather than simply addressing the technical issues, his responses became personal and sarcastic. Throughout the dispute he repeatedly suggested that I was looking for freebies or simply trying to obtain money back. His final response compared my complaint to expecting pizza from a local chicken shop to taste like PizzaExpress and also introduced a completely unrelated personal allegation.

ClickMechanic subsequently apologised and confirmed to me that the mechanic's conduct did not meet the expectations they set for mechanics on their network and that it would be investigated internally.

I appreciate that ClickMechanic ultimately took my concerns seriously and refunded the full labour charge, but my experience with this particular mechanic was extremely disappointing. Read more

Valentin was incredible help for me. He was punctual, kept me updated, and tried to help as much as he could to fix my problem. I couldn't give him much information about the issue, but he diagnosed the problem and fixed it straight away. I was incredibly pleased with his work.

I recently used ClickMechanic to change my front and rear brake pads. While the job was finished in a reasonable time once they had the correct parts, a major safety issue occurred. The mechanic failed to torque the front right wheel, leaving it loose. They then took the vehicle out for a test drive in this condition and only noticed the mistake upon returning to my place of work.
I am leaving this review to document the incident publicly. I expect ClickMechanic management to contact me to ensure this has been formally logged on my invoice file, and to arrange a thorough, documented inspection of my wheel studs, hub, and rim for any hidden structural fatigue or damage.
