My problem was that there was a fault in the the locking mechamism. He concluded that there was a fault in the locking mechanism. I had to pay anyway.

I carried out a diagnostic inspection of the vehicle and accurately identified the fault with the locking mechanism. I explained the issue to you and provided the contact details of a specialist who can supply and replace the required part.
You also requested a Vehicle Health Check, which I completed and provided to you with the full report. I would kindly ask you to refer to the report that was sent to you, as it clearly explains the fault identified and the part that needs to be replaced.
The required part is not something I would have available to replace immediately during a diagnostic appointment. The correct procedure is for the required part to be ordered through the ClickMechanic website, with your approval, before the repair can be carried out.
The payment you made was for the diagnostic inspection and Vehicle Health Check that I completed and the report I provided. I believe I gave you an accurate diagnosis and clear professional advice on the next step required to resolve the issue.
I’m always happy to help my customers, but I also believe it is important that the service provided and the reason for the charge are accurately reflected in the review

Worst job ever. He didn’t lift the car and look under the car. It was just a lazy job. I will never ever book with this place again and I will not recommend it to anyone. I paid £70 for such a shitty job and he took 2 mins to check it and called it a day. What a bloody scam. First and last time using this ever

For future reference, we’ll consider bringing a crane, dismantling the entire car and laying all the parts out on the street in front of your house for £70 — although we suspect that might make the inspection slightly more expensive! A diagnostic check is intended to identify the problem without unnecessarily dismantling the vehicle. Further investigation or repairs are only carried out with the customer’s approval

He told me to change the oil as he thought it was the crankshaft, but had other mechanics opinions, its either the dpf or the dual mass flywheel

I inspected the dual-mass flywheel and found that it was operating correctly, with no fault identified at the time of inspection. As I explained, the symptoms could potentially be related to another component, which is why a proper diagnosis and repair process is necessary.
I would respectfully suggest having the vehicle properly repaired and the fault confirmed first. Once the repair has been completed, you will then be in a better position to determine whether my diagnosis was correct or not.
I always aim to provide an honest and professional assessment based on the checks carried out on the vehicle.

To be honest, im not happy. He plugged car into computer, said cylinder 3 was misfiring, changed 1 spark plug, told me to change the ignition coil and would be fine. Well ignition coil changed and problem still the same. Iv paid for nothing
